I built things before I built systems. Construction and infrastructure project management in Peru - first roads and buildings, then energy and oil exploration. That's where I learned the real lesson: complexity isn't the enemy. Unmanaged complexity is.

Twenty-four years ago I moved to Canada with an Architecture degree, an MBA, a PMP - and something no diploma covers: the drive to start over and give a new country everything I had.

In 2025, I stopped waiting for the "right time" and founded 1Khipu — hands-on consulting, not templates, not shortcuts. Just me, in the room, solving real problems with AI.

THE TURN

1Khipu comes from the Inka's knotted-cord system - thousands of threads, each one meaningless alone, powerful once connected. That's the whole idea. Individual pieces. One system. Real value.
